Add a Buyer

Before you can associate a buyer with an item, you must first add the buyer in the Administration application.

Note:  The Last Name, First Name, and E-Mail fields are used to search for the Item & Cost users that you wish to set up as buyers.  

If you are a Park City Group Security Administrator

Follow these steps:

 

From the Administration tab, under Personalization:.

  1. Click Manage Buyers.  

  2. Click Add to create a new buyer.

  3. Enter a Buyer Number.  This number will be used to reference your buyer in transactions with your trading partner.

  4. The buyer option defaults to No Contact, which means that the buyer number is not associated with an individual.  If you wish to assign a Person to the buyer number, perform the following steps:

    1. Change the selection to Person.

    2. Enter search criteria.  You can enter the first part of the Last Name, First Name, or the user’s E-Mail address.  Follow your entry with an asterisk (wild card).

    3. Click Find to display the users.

    4. Select the user to set up as a buyer.

  5. Click Save to complete the process.  The buyer can now be associated with items.
