Regular costs (R) are also called “front-line or base” costs. These are a distributor’s normal prices.
Regular costs have an effective date but do NOT have an end date. For example, a cost of $12.99 that is in effect on 10/01/2006. This price will remain the front-line cost until a new “regular” cost is entered.
