Temporary costs (T) are costs set up with both effective date and end dates. Like a Promotional Cost, a Temporary Cost overrides the Regular Cost for a set period of time. For example, $4.99 from 11/09/2006 to 11/17/2006.
However, most retailer pricebooks will not accept temporary-pricing. Therefore, distributors are strongly encouraged to use the Promotion System to enter Promotional Costs.
