Partial by Item

Also called a cycle inventory, this is a less-than-full count of each item.

A supplier performing partial counts may just inventory 10 items at one time, another 10 items another time.  Although inventories of this type are normally performed on monthly or periodic cycles, partial counts are not necessarily based on a set period of time.
