Note: In viaLink applications, we use the terms provider to refer to the supplier and subscriber for the retailer. These terms are used to differentiate between those who provide item, price, and promotional data, and those who subscribe to or receive the data.
– Subscriber Generally a retailer, this is anyone who receives data through viaLink from a provider.
– Provider A provider of item and cost data. Also called distributor, supplier, manufacturer, these individuals stock your stores or warehouses for later sales to consumers.
– You – Refers to you as an individual or to your company.
