Overview - ReposiTrak Document Management

ReposiTrak's Document Management tool addresses regulatory requirements for visibility to documents, reports, audits, certifications, etc. for facilities and processes within a supply chain.  For example, documents covering:

Product Liability Certificates of Insurance	Crisis Response Plans
Business Continuity Plans	Global Letters of Guaranty
State Facility Inspections	Food Allergen Control Programs
FDA Facility Inspections	Environmental Testing Documentation
3rd Party Food Safety Facility Audits (such as GFSI)	Product Guarantees and Indemnification Agreements

 

Through a simple upload, you and your trading partners can store and share required and optional documents.  Version control ensures only the most recent documents display and up-front visibility to effective dates / expiration dates provide a quick method for monitoring compliance across the chain.

Versions, expiration dates.  

Formats - Docs can be pdf, xls, more..list..   PDF, TXT, RTF, DOC, DOCX. Any document type.  open from browser, save to local, complete and upload

Retention - to be determined.

Expiration Dates.  Allow users to set document expiration dates.  Previously the expiration date was hard-coded to one year from the upload date.  Now users can accept the default of one year from today or adjust as needed to match the actual certification date.

Increment document versions. Document version identifiers are now restricted to a maximum of four numeric sections separated by decimal points.  Users enter the initial version number on first upload and then, on subsequent uploads, either allow ReposiTrak to automatically increment the number or override this feature and enter their own version.  

Associate documents with locations and products.  For example, users can now align FDA facility inspections with the locations reviewed or post nutrition fact sheets for specific products.

requirements area other topic:  User company can set requirements.   Example, i require all partners foreign, for every seafood locations, to have these docs. once partner uploads docs, i can see which ones have complied.  I'm retailer, and if you are domestic, and produce child safety item, we require this type of doc.
