A file extension is the period and three-letter extension attached to most files. It is used by computer systems to identify the file format. For example, "itemdata10192001.csv" identifies a file in comma-separated format.
A file extension is not required (but is allowed) when uploading files to Prescient. Your Content & Format Type selection identifies the type of file.
