Completing the Compare Template

The Item / Cost Compare template lists a variety of fields that can be used to compare retailer and supplier data.  However, only two fields are required for a basic item compare:  Product Code and Product Code Type.  All other fields are required only if you wish to verify data at that level.  For example, Net Weight and Net Weight Code are used only if weight synchronization is important to the match.

The same scenario is used with the Base Cost, Allowance, and Net Cost fields. If you are only verifying Product Codes you can leave the cost fields blank.  However for a cost comparison, you must include the cost fields to be compared.

Use the following as a guide to completing the template. The template is called: DATA COMPARE TEMPLATE.XLS.
