Manage State Margins

Use this screen to apply a margin to all stores within a state.  Margins are applied to categories, such as "1200 - Premium Singles", and are based on percentages of the distributor's PTR (Price to Retailer).  Margins can be entered for entire categories or individual UPCs.

Current margin values do not appear on this screen.

Export Note:  Changing a Margin generates a VMP 879 pricing export.

 

Follow these steps:

 

 

From the Vendor Managed Pricing tab:

  1. Click Manage State Margins.

  2. Select the desired State.

  3. Locate the product Category.

  4. You can enter a margin for an entire Category, or you can enter margins for individual UPCs within a Category.

Enter margins without a percent sign. For example, enter 6% as 6 or 6.25% as 6.25.  Up to two decimal places can be entered.

    • To change a Category margin, simply enter the margin beside it.

    • To enter UPC margins, click the Category, enter the individual margins, and click OK.  Click Yes to confirm.

  1. IMPORTANT: Click Apply.  

  2. Click Yes to confirm.
