Use this function to see if a report has completed.
Although most reports are delivered to you as an e-mail attachment, options are available to hold your report for manual downloading. This function is used to download a report directly to your computer’s hard drive.
Reports can be delivered to you in three ways:
E-mail Attachment
The report is sent to you as an e-mail attachment.
E-mail Notification
You can be notified by e-mail that the report has been placed on our Chainlinksm system for you to download from the File Download area.
Chainlink
The report can simply be placed on Chainlink without an e-mail notification. You must manually check to see if the report file has generated. Once it is complete, you can download it from the File Download area.
Many people choose e-mail attachment as the most convenient way to receive their reports.
Note: Although our Chainlink system is the repository for holding files of this type, you download your reports directly from Item & Cost. This simple procedure is begun by clicking the Download button from any window.
You can select the output format of your reports. The options available are comma separated (CSV) or RTF (Rich Text Format).
Selecting comma separated will generate a report you can open in a spreadsheet.
RTF reports are opened with word processing software.
Some reports can be displayed in your window by clicking a Display button. This option is not available for all reports.
