Offer a Single Item

Your items must be offered to and accepted by the retailer before they can include the item and cost in their systems.  This is commonly referred to as "authorizing" the item.  Some retailers are on "auto accept" in which items from your company are automatically accepted into the retailer's system when offered.

Note: You can use these steps to offer one item at a time.  If you have many items to offer, you may find it easier to use Manage Offers for Multiple Items.  Also see Overview - Item Offers.

 

Follow these steps:

  1. Find and display your item(s)

  2. Offer your item(s)

Find and display your item(s)

From the Item & Cost tab:

  1. Click Manage My Item Catalog.

  2. Enter search criteria to find your items.

Hint:  You can click Find by itself to list all of your items, or you can enter one or more Supplier Item Numbers for specific items. For example, 123,124,125 or 123 124 125.

  1. Click Find.  The items that match your criteria display.

Offer your item(s)

  1. Locate the item.

  2. Click the item's Offers link.  

  3. In the Offer window:

The Retailer column lists the retailer name and Park City Group business unit ID (BUID).

Up to 50 retailers display per page.  If more than 50 are available, a Retailer Name field displays to Find a retailer.  Enter part of a retailer name using asterisks as wild cards.

The offer Status of the item is listed by each trading partner.

Offered - Item offered to, but not yet accepted by the retailer.

Accepted -Offer accepted by the retailer.

Rescinded - Offer (authorization) to retailer canceled.  Offers can be rescinded regardless of whether the retailer has accepted.

Rejected - Offer declined by the retailer.

The Date columns show when an offer was made or changed.  

Last Change Date - When an offer was changed, such as rescinding an offered item.  Mouse over the date to view who made the change.

Creation Date - Date the original offer to the retailer occurred.  Retailers who have not been offered the item will not show a date.

  1. To offer an item, check the box in the Offer column by the desired Retailer.  

The box appears only when applicable to the offer Status. Click the column heading to select all on the current page.  

To rescind an offer, check the box in the Rescind column by the desired Retailer.  Click the column heading to select all on the current page.

  1. Click Save.  

Offer information is provided to the selected retailers per the schedule and method set up for each partnership.  Unless they are on "auto accept," each retailer must accept or reject your offer.
