View UPC Authorizations

Use this screen to view the items authorized to a distributor and store.  It includes the Export Batch ID and the date the authorization was sent to the retailer.

 

Follow these steps:

 

 

From the VMP Authorization Provider main menu, under Views:

  1. Click View UPC Authorizations.

  2. Enter criteria to locate the distributor.  You can use asterisks as wild cards.  For example, enter 400*.

  • Distributor Number - Identifier used by Coors Brewing.

  • Retailer Vendor Number - Retailer's ID for the distributor.

  1. Click Choose and select the distributor (if more than one appears in the drop-down list).

  2. Select the Store.

Only stores authorized to the distributor display.

  1. Click Find.

Field Name

Description

UPC

Master Item UPC of retailer-authorized item.

 

Item Description

Master Item description of authorized item.

 

Export Batch

Batch ID of the authorization export.

 

Effective Date

Date item is authorized in the store.  For information purposes only.

 

End Date

Proposed authorization end date.  For information purposes only.

 

Received Date

Date authorization received by Prescient from VMP Authorization Provider.

 

Type

The type of authorization.

1 - Modular Update.  Bi-annual relay and refresh.

2 - Special Project.  New stores, footage changes, tests, etc.

3 - In & Out.  Items sold on an in & out basis.  No modular position required.

4 - SOTC.  Store level requests for distribution, store/department manager requests.

 

Ack Data Message Code

 

Lists errors found in the authorization export to the retailer.
