Select the promotion and choose the deal

1. Select the promotion for which you want to add a deal.

If your promotion is not already listed in the window.

2. Select Add Deals – Express Entry from the Next Step bar.

3. Click Proceed.  The Express Deal Entry Menu displays.

4. Click Feature Product With Allowance. The Feature Product Allowance Express Entry window displays.

Enter the deal information

1. If desired, enter a Deal ID to identify the deal.

2. If the effective and end dates are different than those set up for the promotion, enter the Effective Date and End Date for the deal.

Enter in the format mm/dd/yyyy. These must be future dates. The dates default to the promotion effective and end dates.

3. Select the Handling Method. This sets how the allowance will be applied.

4. If desired, enter a Deal Description that describes the deal (optional, but recommended).

5. Select a Cost Comment if desired.

C.

Enter the Net Price and Purchase Quantities

1. Enter each Net Price for the deal items. This is based on the quantity of the purchase items.

Note:  You can have multiple net prices and purchase quantities in this deal.  Your subscriber (retailer) will need to select the desired deal quantity (level) when they receive notification of the promotion.

2. Enter the Purchase Quantity. This is the amount of the featured item that must be purchased for the allowance to apply.

3. Enter the SRP (suggested retail price) if applicable.

4. Enter the SRP Unit Qty (quantity) if applicable.

5. Select the Purchase UOM (unit of measure).

6. Select the Deal UOM (unit of measure).

Enter the feature item, the deal items, validate and save

1. In the Feature Item field, enter the Supplier Item Number of the item that must be purchased for the net price to be available.

2. In the Deal Items fields, enter the Supplier Item Number of each discounted item.

3. Click Validate.

Return to Express Deal Entry Menu is displayed on the Next Step bar. This allows you to either add another deal or activate the promotion.

4. Click Save and Proceed.

E.

Activate the promotion

At this point, you can add another deal or Activate the promotion.  To add another deal, follow the steps above.  To activate the promotion, follow the steps below.

Activate Promotion is displayed on the Next Step bar.  

1. Click Save and Proceed.  You are prompted Are you sure.....?  

2. Review and print the promotion for your records.  (Use your browser's print button.)

3. After review, click Yes to confirm the activation or click No to cancel.

Note:  New deals cannot be added after a promotion is activated.  If you select No, select Return to Promotion Selection and activate the promotion later.
